Albuterol is a bronchodilator that relaxes muscles in the airways and increases air flow to the lungs. Albuterol is used to treat bronchospasm (wheezing, shortness of breath) caused by reversible obstructive airway disease in adults and children who are at least 6 years old. Albuterol may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.
Vospire ER is used for treating patients with breathing problems due to conditions such as asthma or other airway diseases. A physician for other conditions may also prescribe Vospire ER for other conditions. Vospire ER is a sympathomimetic bronchodilator. Vospire ER normally functions by relaxing the muscles in the airways, allowing air to pass in and out of the patient's lungs more easily.
