Eplerenone is used to treat congestive heart failure after a heart attack. Eplerenone is also used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension). Inspra is an odorless, white or sometimes white-off crystalline powder that is highly soluble in some liquids such as water. The solubility of this substance is purely dependent on its PH value. Eplerenone used for oral administration is usually composed of 25 mg or 50 mg of the drug and some inactive ingredients like cellulose and hypromellose.
