Anaprox is a medication that belongs to a group of drugs known as nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, also known as NSAIDs. This prescription drug is used to treat conditions such as osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis. It also treats a range of other conditions like menstrual cramps and tendonitis. Although it is not known how it works in treating these conditions, it is thought to block certain substances in body which are associated with inflammation. It helps alleviate the symptoms of inflammation and pain but it does not cure the diseases associated with them.
