Also known as Bueno and Gas-X Prevention, Alpha D Galactosidase is an enzyme inhibitor that is used to treat digestive gas. It contains a food enzyme that works with the digestion in order to break down complex carbohydrates to make digest better. Its name is derived from a mold known as Aspergillus niger. It is manufactured in two forms: oral drops and oral tablets. It works by hydrolyzing complex sugars, verbascose, stachyose and raffinose, into simple sugars such as fructose, galactose and glucose.
